Eric Andersen
Eric is the Chief Executive Officer of Aon Risk Services in the U.S. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the U.S retail business of Aon Risk Services. Eric has worked in the insurance brokerage community for over 20 years, including several years in the Lloyd’s marketplace.
Prior to his current position, Eric was the US Retail Field Leader and CEO of Aon Global Americas (global account segment). Previously, Eric was the Co-National Managing Director of Aon Financial Services Group, as well as the Resident Managing Director of Aon in Southern California. Eric is a member of the Aon Risk Services Global Executive Committee.
Donald Bailey
Don joined Willis in March, 2003. In March, 2004 he was named CEO of Willis Risk Solutions NA, the company's large account practice, and in March, 2006 he was promoted to the position of COO Willis North America , and in 2006 to CEO Willis North America. He will become Chairman and CEO of Willis HRH when the acquisition of HRH is completed.
Prior to joining Willis, Don held underwriting positions with Chubb and Allianz, and served with other major brokers over a 14-year period in various capacities.
Don graduated from Allegheny College with a BS in Economics. He holds an MBA from Eastern University.
Joe McSweeny
Joseph M. McSweeny is president of the U.S./Canada Division of Marsh Inc., the world’s leading insurance broker and risk advisor.
Mr. McSweeny has three decades of experience in insurance brokerage and risk management consulting. He returned to Marsh in 2007, after serving in a number of senior leadership positions at Willis Group Holdings for more than a decade.
He began his insurance brokerage career with Marsh in 1976, and rose through the ranks to become a managing director and head of the global Utility Industry Practice. He also led the firm’s Nuclear Insurance Consulting operation.
In 1994, he joined Willis Group Holdings as chief operating officer for the New York region. He oversaw a restructuring that transformed the regional business into one of the firm’s most profitable operations. In 1998, Mr. McSweeny was promoted to chief executive of Willis International Holdings and was responsible for the firm’s retail operations in 70 countries throughout Continental Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
Mr. McSweeny became chairman of the firm's Global Risk Management Practice in 2001.
He holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics from the University of Louisville and an M.B.A. in Finance from Pace University. A graduate of the Naval Nuclear Power School, Mr. McSweeny served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and completed four nuclear submarine patrols in the Pacific. He is a member of the U.S. Submarine Veterans Association.
Bill xxCoffin
Bill Coffin is the publisher and editorial director of Risk Management, the flagship publication of the Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc. His previous experience includes reporting for Best's Review magazine as well as a corporate researcher for the American Re-Insurance Company.
